Members of the LSU Health School of Medicine Parents’ Council support the mission and strategic plan of the LSU Health School of Medicine. The vision of the Parents’ Council is to provide parents and other family members with critical insights into students’ schedules and scholastic lives; enhance the experience of students during their studies at the LSU Health School of Medicine; understand student needs by meeting with representatives of student organizations and advise the Dean and Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Records on specific projects that we wish to support through the Parents’ Council Annual Fund. We encourage fellow parent and family philanthropy; for, they will have a significant and immediate impact on the educational experiences of medical students.
