Celebrated as one of the greatest benefactors of New Orleans, Don Andres Almonester most notably founded the first public school for the city and rebuilt Charity Hospital following the great fires of New Orleans at his own expense. His legacy is embedded in the fabric of our great city and he continues to influence New Orleanian culture as he built some of our most architecturally inspiring buildings.
Members of this society are the bearers of generous service to others and the desire to pay it forward, creating a better and more beautiful world for those around them.
The following donors have been generous to LSU Health New Orleans for many years and we thank them here by acknowledging their cumulative gifts.
