Gynecologic Oncology Survivor’s Second Line Event

We are so excited to share the wonderful event photos and video from the Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month Second Line with the LSU New Orleans Gynecologic Oncology department on Sept. 10th. We are so honored to host the survivors and celebrate them among family and friends! The LSU Health Gynecologic Oncology Section is led by Amelia Jernigan, MD, Navya Nair, MD, MPH, and Tara Castellano, MD.

We hosted a musical celebration for the brave women in our community who have faced a gynecologic cancer and the people in their lives who have walked this journey with them! Proceeds from the raffle and donations went to support the LSU Health’s Section of Gynecologic Oncology supporting their mission to raise the bar for gynecologic cancer care in South Louisiana.
