Dr. Hannelore Giles is a 1963 graduate of the LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine. A recipient herself, Dr. Giles made a million dollar pledge to establish a scholarship in 2015: “Out of gratitude, it was always our intent to pay it forward by paying it back. I am proud and honored to establish the Drs. William G ‘64 and Hannelore H ’63 Giles Scholarship. It is my hope, and that of my late husband, that the recipient of this scholarship will do the same, thus providing deserving and capable students the opportunity to fulfill their career pursuits and received the best raining in the region.”
