Advancement Database Administrator & Analyst Position
This position is the Information Technology liaison for the Foundation and oversees the daily operation of the Advancement database (Raiser’s Edge), which tracks contributions, alumni, donor, and prospect information. The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Foundation’s Advancement database, including data input and output, technology management, and end-user training and support. This position will provide support to the donors, campus and development staff by assisting with the creation of reports, ensuring that database users (internal and external) are trained in the proper use of the database, developing and implementing policies to guide data entry, and making sure that the database effectively captures donor, prospect and alumni information and generates accurate financial and analytical reports. Maximizing the Foundation’s philanthropic capacity will be paramount using the analytic and reporting capabilities of this role.
This position will be the first point of contact for Development staff with questions about or problems with the use of the database, and will serve as the liaison to vendors and the Foundation’s computer service support in maintaining the hardware, software, and cloud based applications and troubleshooting problems. The scope of information technology support and system integration beyond the donor database will be critical for this position.
The Advancement Database Administrator reports to the Chief Development Officer.
