The LSU Health Foundation, New Orleans, and LSU Health New Orleans broke ground Friday, November 13, 2020, on a new Student Housing Complex, the culmination of three years of hard work. The 579-bed, 324,371 square-foot modern housing facility will primarily serve the students of LSU Health New Orleans. What started as an idea in a brainstorming session between LSU Health Chancellor Larry Hollier and Altier years ago has now culminated in a major milestone for LSU Health. This will be the first new student housing on LSU Health’s campus since 1967.
